Conclusion
Until Christ Returns
"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
— Philippians 1:6
What We Have Covered
You have journeyed through the foundations and applications of purpose from God's perspective.
In Part One, we established the Four Dispensations:
- The Original Purpose, God's perfect design for humanity, where man was created for fellowship and dominion, positioned in the garden with full access to divine provision.
- The Failed Purpose, Adam's choice to obey another voice, resulting in banishment from the garden and the introduction of struggle, toil, and death.
- The Intermediate Purpose, Where we currently live, caught between the fall and the restoration, carrying both Adamic and Christ natures, serving God in a world of thorns.
- The Restored Purpose, The glorious future that awaits when Christ returns, bringing new bodies, new environments, and unhindered fellowship with God forever.
In Part Two, we explored the practical realities:
- God's heart is for fellowship, not mere servitude
- Man was designed as a god in his own realm, carrying divine authority
- Location and positioning determine access to divine provision
- The river system represents God's intentional, multi-dimensional supply
- Anointing without direction leads to frustration
- Adam was cast out as an act of redemption, not mere punishment
- Position matters more than formula
- Faithful service is possible, and expected, even in the thorns
What Awaits Next
In Part Three, we move from understanding purpose to entering it. You will discover:
- The Four Pillars of Purpose, Call, Anointing, Place, and Provision, and why all four must align before purpose can function
- How to locate your calling, not through burning bushes or dramatic experiences, but through the people God connects you to
- The Deliverer-Destiny pattern, the person who delivered you is the gateway to the vision you were born to serve, from Moses and Aaron to Jesus and Peter
- The four non-negotiable steps every called person must walk through: deliverance, service, submission, and sacrifice
- The desert journey, why your purpose is activated between Egypt and Canaan, not suspended there
- Three disciplines for navigating your calling, following, giving, and serving
- Two kinds of anointing, the Holy Spirit's empowerment and God-given authority, and why both must be present
- Why God sets boundaries on your assignment, and how to discern the five signs of true calling from self-appointment
Until then, work with what you have learned. These truths are not merely theoretical, they are meant to shape how you live, pray, relate, and work.
A Challenge
Before you set this book aside, let me challenge you:
1. Know Your Dispensation
You are in the Intermediate Purpose. Stop expecting Eden while living east of Eden. Accept the reality of thorns while trusting in the coming restoration.
2. Examine Your Position
Are you where God has placed you, or where you have placed yourself? Location determines access. Submit your positioning to God's sovereignty.
3. Seek Direction, Not Just Power
Do not assume that anointing is enough. Pursue the revelation, the training, the mentorship that provides steering for your power.
4. Count the Cost
Purpose is not free. Decide now what you are willing to pay. The alternative, the cost of purposelessness, is far higher.
5. Serve Faithfully in the Thorns
Do not wait for perfect conditions. Serve now. Worship now. Obey now. Bloom where you are planted while trusting God for better soil ahead.
A Blessing
May the God who created you with purpose reveal that purpose clearly.
May the Christ who redeemed you empower you to walk in it.
May the Spirit who indwells you provide both power and direction.
May you be positioned rightly, provisioned abundantly, and protected completely.
And may you hear at the end: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
